About Me
I joined the United States Air Force in 2002 as a Security Forces Member, which is just like the Military Police. During that time I deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and other locations. I have been stationed all over the world and lived in many different countries. I was also a technical training instructor for four years. I taught Airmen just out of basic training the Security Forces profession. There, I received my Master Instructor certification which is only awarded to the Top 1% of instructors Department of Defense wide. This certification equates to 4,000 teaching hours within four years in the civilian teaching sector. After my teaching assignment was complete, I knew I wanted to teach when my time was complete in the military. I decided to go to graduate school at Michigan State University and earn my Master of Arts in Education Degree. I will graduate in the Summer of 2022.
